King Street Theatre

King Street Theatre, formerly Newtown Theatre, will offer two performance spaces, after finalisation of upgrade end of March 2012. The new owner, EMU Productions (theatre & music) Pty Ltd is aiming to create a space for any possible creative art. The Foyer Theatre has a capacity of 60 seats and the Main Theatre allows 100 seats. There is a licenced Bar, a newly developed Green Room and facilities to accommodate artists and audience needs comfortably. The main stage is 11 X 5 m and the foyer stage is 5 x 3m. Both stages have sufficient light and sound equipment. The dressing room is unisex and accommodates up to 8 people. The new web site will go life by end of February 2012. Logos, seating plans, and venue pictures will be available at the same time.
